  A: this video converter provides you with the clip function to pick up the segments you want from the loaded video/audio file. To do this:

  2. Drag and drop left/right clip slider thumb under play progressbar set the start and end point of the segment you want.

If you want to get better quality, please select 'mpeg4' as video codec instead of 'h.263', as well as set a larger number for video bit rate and video size.
